Don't Be Afraid To Start Over

Welcome to my Christian blog, again...
I can recall when I first felt the call to write in 2018. I was so excited because I didn't know if I would ever write again. I declared to the Lord in 2011 that I would no longer use my gift for ungodly gain (Maybe I will share later). After seven years of not writing, I thought God had retired me. So, I set my research and analytical writing skills aside in pursuit of God. But this was good; I took the time to submit to God in a new way, embarking on a deeper journey of transformation. If the Lord ever allowed me to pick up my pen (or keyboard) again, it would be to win souls and share a message from God.

It's a race with only one competitor: You.
I have learned and continue to learn that allowing oneself time to marinate in God is okay. At times, we may find ourselves striving to achieve a goal yet not accomplishing it well, which leads to a cycle of mistakes. Pursuing greater and eternal goals is what truly matters. I share this with you because I believe I grew stronger when I no longer feared failing in my intent to gain understanding of God. Focusing on cultivating a clean, humble, loving spirit and soul became more valuable than utilizing my gifts. My heart was turned toward the gift giver with the intent to please Him.
In 2025, I started over.
After eight years, I find myself here, starting anew. What appeared to be a loss was actually a refining from God. The Lord has instructed me to abandon my pen name and move forward with my God-given name. I know I have changed; much has transpired in my life. But I am grateful for every lesson and drop of grace the Lord has given me. As I embark on my writing journey again, I hope the lessons and revelations I have learned will enrich all who read and hear.
Remember, it's not about being the first to finish but about doing the job well—quality over speed. Trust in God to shape and mold you as the master potter He is. His work will always surpass ours, so take your time and do it right.
